Re: Copy Files

Smarterm supports SFTP and SCP protocols for secure file transfer.

If you have manual you can use these SFTP and SCP commands to transfer the files.

Re: Copy Files

SmarTerm has a Drag & Drop FTP function. All you have to do is open a directory on the host, find the file you want, and drag it to the appropriate directory for your PC.

Re: Copy Files

ipaulino05,

Also, Smartterm does support Kermit (see http://www.columbia.edu/kermit ).

Unlike SCP, FTP, and other network level tools, Kermit is a normal non-privileged program that can be downloaded at no charge from the Kermit Project www site. Thus, it can be used by a normal user, without the need for system manager (or network manager) reconfiguration.

The data is transferred over the terminal connection itself. At broadband bandwidths, it is reasonably efficient.
