CSWS 2.1-1 log file problems

No way to upgrade my production system to csws 2.1 at the moment:

I am running CSWS 2.1-1 on my test system and have serious problems with logfiles. When working with virtual hosts, I cannot assign more than two access and errorlog files. Collecting all the access and error logs in up to two files, everything wors fine, as soon as i try to use a third one, apache does not start and does not even generate error messages.

This works fine:

as soon as i replace the varios access_0.log files by access_2.log, access_3.log, access-4.log ... apache has a problem.

Interesting aspect: the new log files are created, by remain empty

Problem solved:

I had to increase the quotas of the apache user. twice as much as proposed in the release notes helped, but I still do not know, which of all the quotas caused the problem.

Apache itself was not helpful at all. the process apache$sws died without a word, nothing in the error log, nothing in the process log file and even the debug option produced no error message.

A proces dying unexpectedly usually has no chance to wite such things. However, the system doing the cleanup can, and usually does. The ACCOUNTNG file should contain the process final status.
You _DO_ need to have ACCOUNTING enabled.
