Re: datatrieve
You've been asking a lot of questions about datatrieve recently. It's a very old product, which has had very little, if any maintenance or focus for many years. I'm sure formal support has long since been dropped, and I'm not even sure if it's still available anywhere other than dusty archives.
Although it was, and in some ways still is a great product, I'd be surprised if there was much expertise left to answer such terse and general questions.
If your questions represent real, revenue generating activity, as opposed to idle curiosity, I'd strongly recommmend you engage a geniune, paid professional to assist you in both implementation and training in the product, or to look at ways to migrate to a more current, supported tool to achieve the same ends.
I'd also recommend you obtain as much documentation as you can find, and start reading.

Re: datatrieve
Please re-visit one of your earlier questions. You'll find that my reply has 2 interesting links, one to online documentation, the other to a collection (sic) of useful stuff.
http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1180855
The userguide in the documentation specifically mentions:
"7.5.3 Crossing a Domain with Itself"
http://www.sysworks.com.au/disk$axpdocjun043/database/dtraxp72a/dhqdaaa3.p179.bkb#626
Check that. Check the examples.
Try it with YACHTS, then try to express what you want to achieve in yachts terms, such that some helpful soul can try it before answerring.
Regards,
Hein.

Re: datatrieve
Datatrieve is still available on all platforms (current version is V7.3[A]), is on the condist and seems still to be a supported product.
