Disk Unmounted automatically
HI,
Iam on openVMS7.3-2, with volpro privileged user.
I do allocate, intialize and mount the device
It is successfully mounted, iam able to create files/directories
but when i logoff and log in again , the mount is gone, i have to allocate and moutn it again to make it accessible
Any idea what would have went wrong ?

Gary,
if you just mount a disk with $ MOUNT device: label the disk will be mounted only privately in your current job. Once you log out, the disk wil be dismounted automatically.
To mount a disk permanently, you need to use MOUNT/SYSTEM
