DSM on VMS 8.2

Aren`t DSM and ISM from two different vendors.

DSM = DIgital Standard Mumps
ISM = InterSystems Mumps -> Cache`

Same owner. ISM was/is Intersystems developed
Mumps. DSM is VMS only. ISM is cross-platform
and the starting place for Cache.

Anyone try using DSM on 8.2? I know it's not supported but does it work?

I was curious if using the Alpha code translator would allow DSM to work on an Itanium system

I suspect that DSM would not translate well due to the privileged parts.

Intersystems are not going to make DSM work on VMS V8.2
