how to change node name.
rx6600 openvms
I bad installed system.but the node name is
node1,i want to change node1 to masic1.How can i do this?

This question gets asked frequently on ITRC. I recommend cross checking my somewhat hurried answer with some of the previous posts on this question.
In short, there will be at least four places where node names occur:
- SCSNODE (in the parameter file, accessed using SYSGEN or SYSMAN)
- the DECnet configuration
- the TCPIP configuration
Queue names and some device names may also be affected, please check your configuration. For safety, I when doing this type of work I often create a clone of the SYS$SPECIFIC directory tree (e.g., SYS1) so that it is not difficult to recover from an error.
