Memory channel

We're building a 2 node VMS cluster with dual memory channel cards.

The cluster is mounted everything seems ok, except a "$show dev MC" command displays the MCA0 and MCB0 devices as "unavailable".
I would have expected "online" at least!
Firmware has been updated... VMS is 7.2-2 ...
Can anyone confirm this?

Hi 24x7

This is normal for the MC

$ sho dev mc

Device Device Error
Name Status Count
MCA0: Unavailable 0
MCB0: Unavailable 0

If the MC is not working, the state is Offline

Its Ok and you can check the status by using the
$ ANAL/SYS
SDA> sho device mca
