MessageQ automatic failover

I am looking to migrate from openvms 7.2 on an alpha cluster to an integrity server running 8.2 i believe. Does BEA support that conversion with messageQ?

MessageQ certainly works on 8.2 - although if clustering make sure you get the patch that enables failover to work, as described above. You'll probably want to use 8.3 rather than 8.2.

I'd recommend you first get a test server from HP and test your environment on it. We have had all sorts of trouble migrating to IA64, and have found bugs in practically all layered products used. So far we are 1 year late in our migration, due to problems with compilers, third party products etc. Currently we have a DCL issue holding us up. But I have to say, the performance of the IA64 servers we have seems to be way better than our (admittedly old technology)Alphas.
