MMS-F-EXETOOBIG
Dear VMS users,
I got an error when compiling a source code:
%MMS-F-EXETOOBIG, Command too large. Maximum length is 1019 characters.
Could someone give me some pointers?
Thanks,
YE LIU

Re: MMS-F-EXETOOBIG
"mms /iden"?

EXETOOBIG, Command too large. Maximum length is 'value' characters.
Explanation: The command on an action line exceeded the maximum
command length allowed.
User Action: Correct the command in the description file.
It's hard to say much more without seeing
what's causing the problem. MMS /LOG may
show you something useful.

Re: MMS-F-EXETOOBIG
It frequently helps to give the versions of the relevant software involved. Here, that would be VMS itself, along with MMS or DECset.
