MSA30 configuration

Just a question about the MSA$UTIL.EXE utility.
I have a DS25/OpenVMS V8.2 system with a MSA30 controller pre-configured as RAID5.
The MSA_UTIL for OpenVMS Version V1.0 is suitable for (re)configuring the MSA30 controller or not?
If not, there is other software and/or earlier utility version to do that? I'm looking for command line (non graphic) utilities only.
Thank you.

Re: MSA30 configuration

The MSA30 is simply a disk drive enclosure (sometimes also called a 'shelf'). There is no RAID controller in the box, so you need to find out how it is connected before we can answer the question.
If you are not familiar with the hardware, tell us the OpenVMS device names of the disks.

Re: MSA30 configuration

Sorry, you're right. I've read something regarding MSA20 controller and thought that the MSA30 was something similar...
The actual controller is a Smart Array Controller 5302A (2 ch).
