Re: OpenVMS Cluster Time Synchronization
The time servers are configured in TCPIP$NTP.CONF found under the home-dir of the
TCPIP$NTP user. A .TEMPLATE is available.
More info can surely by found in the fine documentation...
We enabled NTP on one node in the cluster and do a regular SET TIME/CLUSTER to synchronize.

Re: OpenVMS Cluster Time Synchronization
I hope to automatically synchronize time between the two nodes.
What you mean is that do once then always synchronization?

Re: OpenVMS Cluster Time Synchronization
Click it, enter "set time/cluster" select the OpenVMS forum and you will get a list of previous threads in the OpenVMS section discussing this.
There are several discussions about your very question.

Re: OpenVMS Cluster Time Synchronization
I use NTP on each node. Generally one node in the lan polls external time servers and everything else uses that node as a time source.
The sample TCPIP$NTP.CONF has an example of how to configure a node in your cluster as secondary time source, in the event external time signals are lost.
See TCPIP Services for OpenVMS Management, http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/83final/6526/6526pro_030.html#ntp_chap.
