Excellent! I'm glad I could help.

To "use" JSS, there is a menu system. I have an alias "JSS" that points
at:"JS$SYSTEM:JSUSERFNC.COM". JSS "JOBS" run under specific usernames.
Thus, the first thing I have to do when using JSS is
SPECIAL FUNCTION MENU -> SET USERNAME.
I need to *know* the username from the job, in order to set the username.
There is also some security stuff required to "set your username" to
someone else in JSS.

I'm happy to continue this in as much depth as you like. Once you get into
"JSS", it's fairly easy to use.
