Pathworks32 and Windows Security
Hello,
I have a question on Windows Security when using Pathworks32 (DECnet). I established the local account (Windows) and gave it the "Log on as Batch" right. I can then do DECnet read and writes to the Windows machine from a remote OpenVMS machine. However, I am able to read and write anywhere on the Windows machine even though I should not have privilege.
If I set the access with NCP (Windows) I do get the read or write attributes (whichever I set), but again I can read from anywhere on the Windows machine.
I would like to lock this down. I only want to be able to put files into a single directory on the Windows machine.
Also, FTP has been ruled out as an option for me. This is the reason for pursing a DECnet solution.
