Problem with DecWindows Motif version

I have a AlphaStation DS15. I want to install DECWindows Motif/HANZI on OpenVMS V8.2.
The Version of DECWindows Motif from OS Media is V1.5. The version of DECWindows Motif/HANZI on my SPL Media is V1.3-1.
I try to download a DECWindows Motif/HANZI V1.5 from www1.sqp.com. it seems password not correct.
The question is:
Can I install DECWindows Motif/HANZI V1.3-1 with DECWindows Motif 1.5?

I wouldn't expect it to work, but then I wouldn't expect it to even install (a version check should fail). If you're feeling adventurous, make sure you have a good backup and try installing it. If it installs, it might work.

I'd recommend you contact the SPL people to sort out your password. Remember that the passwords have limited lifetimes, so make sure you're using the latest one sent to you.

I got an early SPL from HP. I install DECWindows Motif/HANZI V1.3-1 with DECWindows Motif 1.3-1. It works.

I will test OpenVMS 8.2 vs DECwindows Motif 1.3-1 and DECwindows Motif/HANZI 1.3-1
