Problem with the Tape Loader

Dear All,

I am having a problem with my tape loader a 7 tape loader, connected to a tape drive TZ87. Now the problem is tape loader does load the first tape from the slot but as soon as the first tape is dismounted the second tape does not get loaded automatically, which previously was the case. Any ideas on the resons behind the strange anomaly ?

Iman,

the loader must be configured to use Sequential Mode. Check the owner's guide.

AFAIK this may depend on the key-switch position. What kind of loader is this ?

Doesn't the tape loader have a key on the front that should be placed in a certain position? I vaguely remember that after closing the hatch the key had to be positioned correctly for the tapes to be loaded one after the other.

Iman,

the TZ877 must be in OCP Disabled mode or in Automatic Mode to automatically load the cartridge from the next slot. This is controlled by the Mode Select Key switch.
