In tcpip we have log options like login,logout and so many options. But all the information are stored in operator log. But we want specify the log information on seperate file.

TCPIP> show service telnet/full

If we use above command we can see what log option we are defined. But below the log options we can see "FILE" option. How we can define file for this option to store all the log.

It's not listed among the other options in
the HELP, but there are instances in, for
example, SYS$MANAGER:TCPIP$CONFIG.COM:

SET SERVICE /LOG_OPTIONS = FILE: file_spec
