Same PCL code, different text makes LJ2430 select different paper source
I have a very simple text file which I copy to a LaserJet 2430 printer (firmware: 08.108.3).
If I change the body text (only the ascii part) a different papersource is selected, the PCL papersource selection code stays the same.
Anyone knows about this problem?
Attached a small case to illustrate my problem.
Both batchfiles should use the same paper source as ordered by PCL code, but one uses tray 2 the other tray 1.
ps. you have to change the batchfile a little bit (\\yourcomputer\printername).
The problem also exists on a LaserJet 4250tn

Re: Same PCL code, different text makes LJ2430 select different paper source
Bas,
welcome to the OpenVMS forum.
You have posted your question in the 'languages and scripting' section of the OpenVMS forum, but it may be better suited for the printers forum:

Bas,
I guess you wrong forum. The .bat files and \\server\printer are typical syntax of dos/windows.
