TCPIP$HR_MIB process using 100%
While busy working on one of our nodes we experience that the system were tremendously slow, after investigation it was found that the TCPIP$HR_MIB process were using 100% the cpu. The snmp service was disabled and the TCPIP$HR_MIB process was killed and also the wbem processes was stopped and the system were stable again.
The current TCPIP version on TIBS02 is v5.3-1 with eco 4 install on it.
Is this a known issue if so is there a workaround to solve this problem permanently.

Re: TCPIP$HR_MIB process using 100%
I doubt yout Tcpip version is 5.3-1, may be 5.1 eco 4 (you should install Eco 5).
And yes, there has been similar issues with hr_mib eating the Cpu.
What gives
$ ucx show version
?

Here's the output from the tcpip command:
$ tcpip show version
Compaq TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Alpha Version V5.3 - ECO 4
on a AlphaServer GS160 6/731 running OpenVMS V7.3-1
$ tcpip show version
