Re: network

"I [...] can't" doesn't say very much. What
happens when you try? (Actual commands and
actual output would be nice.)

What are the IP addresses and netmasks on the
systems? "netstat -rn" outputs? "nslookup
" on each?

Re: network

Is there a firewall between them? what is the error that you have?

Re: network

netstat -nr would definetly help.....plus see traceroute....where it is hanging and then see if route in defined in routing table.

Re: network

I'm glad that you think that all the network
parameters are good, but you haven't showed
us any of them, and I have no idea if you
would know good from bad.

That's still true. I still have no idea what
you have tried to do, and what happens when
you try these things.

How should I know? How are they connected?

If you can't provide any useful information,
then you might get better answers from a
telephone psychic. My mind-reading powers
are too weak for this job.
