how to edit RAID volume while server is up?
Hello,
We lately, bought HPE DL380 Gen10 servers, and installed VMware ESXi 6.7 update 2. Those servers has the following Raid controller:
P824i-p
We found that Smart Storage Administrator, does not recognize the raid controller, even after applying the latest SPPs and updates
I would like if you faced a problem with these products and what was the solution?
Thank you in advance,

Re: how to edit RAID volume while server is up?
Hi,
Thank you for the Post.
I see you might be using : The HPE Smart Array P824i-p MR Gen10 Controller, which is MegaRaid Controller.
Here it uses HPE MR Storage Administrator (MRSA) instead HP SSA. And the same should be used for monitoring and managing purposes.
MR Storage Administrator User Guide : https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00095199en_us&docLocale=en_US
Controller Quickspecs : https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/getdocument.aspx?docname=a00037242enw#
Let me know if you have any questions. If you feel this was helpful please click the KUDOS! Thumbs below!
Thank you
