VMWare License Adaptation Procedure

Hi,

How to adapt VMware license for CPU expansion,
Or, can you please provide me with information on how to adapt the license for VMware vSphere Essentials Plus (HPE OEM) when adding CPUs?

I am having trouble with an insufficient license error when I add CPUs and try to adapt the license.

We are using VMware vSphere Essentials Plus (HPEOEM) license,
and trying to expand 2 servers (8 cores x 1 CPU) to 2 servers (8 cores x 2 CPU).

Hi @Account1 ,

    I did not get a proper license expansion with specific count of CPUs. You can refer this video and this document page.
