Vmware View - VM Waiting for agent
Hi
We've been working on a Vmware View 3.0.1 deployment but we are having this issue.
Just for testing purposes an Windows XP SP3 is installed.
Steps.
Machine joined to the domain. Reboot.
Vmware Tools were installed. Reboot.
View Agent 3.0.1 was installed.
We checked the VM status and it keeps showing "Waiting for Agent".
Firewall Check on both ends. Vmware View - VM. No change.
View Server has been rebooted. no change.
Any other idea why the agent is not connecting as it should it is supose we get "Ready" instead of "Waitng for Agent."
thanks a lot

Re: Vmware View - VM Waiting for agent
Can you ping the desktop from the view server?
Check the Windows Firewall on the client, if it's enabled then disable it and reboot the client.
Also View 3.0.1 is now quite old, 3.1.1 is now available.
