Adaptec and Win2k problems

I purchased an HP CD-R/RW that came with an "OEM Version" bundled CD with Adaptec Easy CD Creator 3.5 anb Adaptec DirectCD 2.5. Neither works with Windows 2000, which I recently installed. I need some help to get the proper upgrades.

I had to uninstall DirectCD just so my computer would boot up properly.

You need easy creator 4.02 at least for use with windows 2000. The upgrade is probably not free but you can find more information at www.roxio.com and http://www.roxio.com/en/support/cdrwin/cdrecos.html On the following page you can find also an update for your directcd software: http://www.roxio.com/en/support/archive/archiveupdateswin.html.
