C1105G Juke Box - Adding additional 2 drives

Hello ,

I have HP juke box model No C1105G having two drives at present. I would like to add two more disk drives.

Please do advise what all are pre-requisites for adding them.

I have upgraded controller f/w 2.62 and drive f/w 1.62 still additional drives can not be recognized by controller.

Your assistance is highly appreciated

I believe the Library f/w should be 0.49 and 2.62 for the drives. After installing the drives, try upgrading the library to new f/w... OR you can Restore Default Configs from the library front panel (ADMIN * -- PASSWORD *** -- CONFIG *); however, this will change ALL library configs to factory defaults. You may wish to record the present configuration to be able to set them back to your desired settings.

Dear NH.

To your info if you wish to add a drive to your 80fx to make it a 2 instead of 1 drive system then you just need the drive upgrade kit and the special fw and the info of how to set it up.

-if however you wish to create a 4x drive 32 slot 80fx from your jukebox - then i need to give you bad news - NOT possible.
