Cannot locate model number

My HP Pavilion 9870 was bundled with CD Writer Plus shipped directly from HP. I have searched for a model number and cannot locate it to download updates/drivers. There was no paper information sent regarding the CD Writer. I have looked at the site for pictures to identify the model, but none of the pictures represent my model number. I have looked at Device Manager Properties but there is no model number listed next to the CD Writer drive. How do I locate a model number?

The HP 9870 CD-writer is a 8X4X32 CD-RW drive.

I do not have a model number listed on the underside of the CD Writer Plus tray. Also, the face of the CDWriter Plus does not match up with any of those in the pictures on the site, nor does the description.
I need a specific model number and do not know where to locate this information.
