CD_RW

I back up info to CD. Twice now the CD all of a sudden will load up my CD with over 637 million bytes of something. It eliminates all access to the CD, when I look at the properties of the CD it shows it to be full but does not allow me to access any info on the CD. Is there a way to get back the info that is on the CD. The CD writer is a HP-Writer +7200 series, using the Adeptec DirectCD

Doesn't sound so good. Don't know if this will work, but you could try reading the CDRW in another cd-rom player, which has to be multiread, or else it won't even recognise the CD. If you try this on another PC, you might need to install the UDF-reader-driver (get it from hp.com or adaptec.com), because of the format used bij DirectCD. Good luck!
