CD-Writer 9900/RecordNow version support

CD-Writer 9900/RecordNow version support

I have HP CD-Writer DVD Combo 9900. The version of RecordNow software I am using is 3.5. It appears that there is a 4.56 version available but not upgradeable from my version. Is there a way around this or does 4.56 not support my drive?
