DNLD Mode
Greetings to all!
I have a old 20XT that was recently accedentally flashed with defective firmware. The unit now powercycles to DNLD | DNLD mode (one DNLD is upside down) and LT&T does not recognize the changer or drive.
I have heard that there may be some way to get LT&T to repair the unit but I am unsure of how to do this.
Can anyone tell me how I might be able to fix the changer and the drive? I would rather not replace the library just yet, if there is some hope of bringing the unit back to life.
Thanks!

Re: DNLD Mode
The firmware seems to be corrupted, and you need to download again the code in order to use it again.
The problem is that L&TT do not recognize the unit as a supported device, because L&TT read the enquiry string in order to identify the product.
Now a function is available in L&TT to solve this problem:
You need to first identify by yourself, (an this is important) the exact model that you have.
Then after you have asked a temporary password to HP, you have to go in the "Function" pull-down menu and select: "Manual Product Identification".
When done, you have to flash the correct firmware to the JukeBox that will now be recognized correctly

Re: DNLD Mode
Thanks for the reply!
I was just wondering... How excately do I contact HP about this? The support buttons on LT&T are grayed out, and most of the support sites are for specific products and my poor old 20XT doesn't qualify anymore..
Is there some sort of direct email address for getting this password from HP? I'm presuming that you mean the Factory Override that I found on LT&T shortly after my first post...
Thanks!
