M820e CD-RW

Cannot get this damn thing to work with Windows XP and Roxio v5.11. Program just stops responding halfway through a burn. Running it on a Toshiba Satellite 4030.
Annoyingly, it worked fine under Windows 2000 !!

Any suggestions ?
