Problem copying data CD's

Hi,
I have been trying to 'copy' some data CD's, but have been having problems every so often. Basically it seems to stop just prior to the end of the 'recording' session, and just hangs. I then (occassionally) get a message telling me that there have been errors, and to finish the session, and try again. When I try to do this another message says that this may damage the original CD. I am then unable to copy these particular CD's at all.
Hmmm.
Also, with the 'copying' of some data CD's, there are problems writing the TOS each and every time that I try.
I am using the 'Roxio Easy Creator' that was supplied with my LG Burner. I can find no real explanation for the messages given anywhere in the help files provided.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem.
