Problem formatting data disk

When I format a data disk with a CD-Writer 8200f I get a message that the disk will be under control in a minute. It then goes away and I try to write to it but the write fails until I eject the disk and insert it again. Then it works. How do I fix this.

The 8200 series is a good writer but has it's quirks. Go to add/remove programs and remove it. Then reboot your system with the cdrw plugged in to your computer. when the device is found, let the "new hardware wizard" take over. Let it get the driver from the cd and then reboot. Check your device manager to make sure the writer is recognized. After all that then install your writing software and tools.
