problem with 7200e using Win2000

I am on Win2000 Pro SP2. I have install the Windows2000 parallel port driver provided by SCM in the HP website before I install the packet writing software, DLA (also from the HP website). The installation show no form error. However when I right click on the drive from the My Computer to perform format, I don't see the format option. When I try to explore on an unformatted CDR or CDRW on the drive I get an error, Incorrect function. What is going on? I am able to create data cd with CD Maker 2000 but I am not able to use any of the packet writing software.

I am exaclty in the same situation, so there must be something wrong with the DLA or the parallel por driver. There is another post in this forum explainig this with other words, from Tom Bielek: http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x0735af48a9e5d5118ff40090279cd0f9,00.html
