Problem with formatting CD-RW

I have a CD writer 8200 e. Usually, I buy and format 650mb/74 min CD's designed for performance in 1x, 2x and 4x cd writable drives.

Lately I purchased some Memorex CD's 700mb 80 min 1x - 4x.
When I try and format, I have to change the properties settings to read current read spead 4x and current write speed 2x.
It will format, but after I change CD and come back, I can not read the previous format. I re-insert the CD a couple of times and sometimes it will work again, other say that the CD needs to be formatted and my data can not be accessed.
How can I format these CD's correctly? Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Problem with formatting CD-RW

Dude, i have purchased the same exact CD-R's...700/80. I've burned two audio cd's with them, actually 4, I have had no problem, now it's giving me errors like T7124: TrackWriter error - CD read failed and all that jazz...I think easy cd creator is messing up the format of the CD. I'm not sure, it's really strange.
