record now 3.0

I have Win 98, with upgrades, HP 9900ci, and record now 3.0. When I record
a music CD, it seems that the software assumes I have a 650 MB disk, what
if I have a 700 MB disk? Does anyone know how I can change the capacity
setting of this function? Do I have to contact HP or Veritas? I realize this is a software issue, but thought I'd throw it out to see if there are ideas about this. thanks.

I tested the waters by recording the max limit of music on the 700 MB CD and what the software does is give you a warning that you are about to go over and then it shows you the time that's "over" the 74 min default.

Hi Dave,

Is there any chance that you can send me full system specs of your PC? Including what you have tried.
