Same HP 8220e/8230e Win XP problem...

Hi there! I have a HP 8220e/8230e marked drive and I have tried to make it work on Windows XP; New drivers from HP, installed succesfully! - "HP USB CD Writer 8200e series" on USB controllers and "HP CD-Writer+ 8200f USB device" on DVD/CD-ROM Drives; But when I try to actually burn something, HPRecordNow from HP sais that there is not enough free space on the media (and I haven't added any file to burn yet!). But It was possible to burn something on an old CD, a multisession; But I repeat: nothing with a new CD-R or CD-RW; After that I have tried Nero: after installing a new ASPI and a new CDROM.cfg it was also impossible to burn something; again, not enough free spase/incorect media. I have also tried other burning softwares with no results; This is happening only on XP; works perfectly on any Win 98/Me, with any software I have tried. It's hopeless!
