Win 2k problem
Since I have started using Win 2k I have not been able to write a CD properly. I have all the lastest software and firmware updates from HP's site and it seems to start the process fine and then stop about 4% into the burn cycle and I get a read error. I get a read error whether the source is another CD or a data file on the hard drive. Any suggestions?
P.S. This thread has been moved from General to Optical Jukeboxes & Drives. - Hp Forum moderator

Re: Win 2k problem
Check cabling ! How is your drive connected, it should be on the secondary ide channel as slave. I also had the problem with a defective cdrom player on the same ide channel. Also try to unpower the cdrom reader to test.
