Linux - Altiris Agent help

We're automatically deploying the Altiris client via an RPM and a script that configures it to not use multicast and direct to the Altiris servers IP address. However it doesn't connect and doesn't leave any logs. I think its' fileset related. It doesn't spawn any of the processes expected only /opt/altiris/deployment/adlagent/bin/adlagent -start .
