Remote Deployment Pack Install
Hi, I have been tasked to install a new instance\version of rdp onto new hardware.
I was going to point it to the old database during the install but I'm not certain on how to copy the old jobs and images across to the new server.
Can I just transfer the files to the new location or is there an export feature and then I can import them?
Is there anything else I should be aware of?
Thanks,

Re: Remote Deployment Pack Install
Hi rus,
you can export the single scripts by right-clicking and select EXPORT.
you can export a whole folder by right-clicking and select EXPORT (select the export sub-folders, if needed).
Basically, if you are UPGRADING, it should NOT remove your scripts but you can make a backup copy as specified above.
Try to restore a script in to a different folder before upgrading, for verifying the backup consistency.
HTH.
Goodbye!
