if I take an Image with the .\lib\bin32\windows\pl-sysprep.vbs what is working fine, but if I'm deploying it to a different blade Server I have all the information of the old Server in.I using in the Deploy script the sysprep option.

Re: Sysprep not working

It's best to just copy the JOB and rename it. Then go in and modify the name of the image file to use.

I'm unclear as to your issue - show me the error.

Also tell me what Tools->Integration Module->About says.

Re: Sysprep not working

Hi,
I just copied it, but what shall I rename?
attached my jobs for taking the image what is working fine.
I got no errors, but if I'm deploying the image to a different Server sysprep is not working, the new Server has the same Name,Ip as the Image.
Prepared using sysprep is active on the Deploy Job as you can see in the attachment.
hope that helps

Re: Sysprep not working

Ok lets take a step back.

Do the jobs that *come* with RDP (Capture Image & Deploy Image) work using your test servers?

If so...

Copy the "Capture Windows..." and and click on "Server Imaging" folder right click and paste it to the same folder it will create a job called "Copy of Capture Windows...". Rename it to "x64 STD Image Capture Windows.....

Do the same as above to the "Deploy Windows..." job.

Re: Sysprep not working

Wobble,

Are the canned job working before you modify them? I'm trying to understand if it's ever worked.
