Drive detection Problem !!
Hi,
In ML370 G2 server, only one disk drive is not detected by the OS. The server has a drive cage of six hard drives. Drive cage si also replaced with the new one, but still the drive is not detected. Also no RIAD is configured, then, i test the hard drive, by swapping the two hard drives. After swapping the hard drives, again one is detected and other not. It means hard drive didn't have any problem...........Plz guide me what can i do next !!
P.S. This thread has been moved Disk to ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL). - Hp Forum Moderator

Re: Drive detection Problem !!
It looks like the slot for the drive is faulty.
Perhaps you should check the connector of the faulty slot for visual defects.
Regards,
Bob
