G2 M/B in a G1 server case
I have a G1 case with a bad motherboard. Can I put a G2 motherboard into this case? Thanks...Dave...

Re: G2 M/B in a G1 server case
Hi,
That's unlikely since there is generally a big difference between the G1 and G2 models, less so between G2 and G3.
What G1 model case is it anyway?
If you let us know what the original case type is it might confirm this.
Regards,
Brian

Re: G2 M/B in a G1 server case
Thanks for the info. After doing some more checking, you are correct. It won't fit. After a closer look at my current M/B and the G2 M/B they are a different design. I could not even retofit it to work. I appreciate your response. Dave...
