Transfering OEM serial between servers?
Good day gentlemen.
A client of mine bought an HP Proliant ML110 a few years ago. It ended up having sever motherboard issues and thus, he bought a new server, a Proliant ML115 G5.
The old server brought with it an OEM serial for Windows Server 2008 STD 1-4 CPU's. I need to know if theres any way to transfer the serial from the broken server to the brand new one and which CD would I exactly need. My manager has a few original Windows Server 2008 discs with him, but he doesn't know which one will work with this servers serial. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
