Re: How can I made a mirror
Under Device Manager check what controller is Installed SA 641 or A 642? Or itâ s software mirror.
Let us know, you might be able Migrate to RAID 5 Instead and save size of one Disk, as Mirrored will eat 50% of your Drive. With 4 drives and RAID 5 you loose only 25%.

Re: How can I made a mirror
Plug in your RAID controller and attach the drives.
Power on the machine.
During boot some messages from the RAID controller will appear. It will prompt you to press F8 for configuring.
Press F8
After that the controller will offer you the choice to configure a new array.
Do so.
If you have only 2 drives configure RAID 1
If you have more drives configure RAID 5
Be aware that all data on the drives will be lost. You will have to reinstall the operating system.
Best regards

Re: How can I made a mirror
Our server is working on Windows 2000 Server. It is working okey. My task is install 2 new SCSI hard drives. Made mirrow. For example. Present SCSI hard drives 0 (system) and 1. Adding new SCSI hard drives
2 and 3. Made mirrow from 0 to 1, and from 1 to 3. That is all. I should not lost our information.
But when I press F8, I saw:
HP SCSI card(s) found
1.HP ULTRA3 Dual Channel at set 00 Port 1
2.HP ULTRA3 Dual Channel at set 00 Port 2
As I understand, It is a SCSI controller
Okey, I choose 1:
1.Multi initiaion cofiguration
What does it mean?
2.Tape based on Bottom Disaster Recovery
