sftp and ftp

Hi all
Is there a way to configure both ftp and sftp on the same server, because I want the internal users to use ftp and the external use sftp. and what ports are required to open.

Thanks for your help.

Re: sftp and ftp

Check this link for the port numbers, or check your own /etc/services file:
http://www.pantz.org/networking/tcpip/ports.shtml

Using both ftp deamon and sftp daemon should be no problem.

Re: sftp and ftp

Hi,

have a look at /etc/services. You'll see, that they use different ports and what is used, should be determined by the client.
