HP SimpliVity 4.0.2
Subject: Best Practice to gracefully shutdown all nodes of SimpliVity (4.0.2)
Product: HPE SimpliVity 380 Gen10 Node
What is the best way or step by step procedure to gracefully shutdown all nodes of SimpliVity, we have five nodes, there are two separate clusters, One cluster have two nodes and Other cluster have three nodes. The "Arbiter" for two nodes cluster is on the shared storage of three nodes cluster. The VCSA(vcenter) is on the two nodes shares clusters. All nodes connected to same core network switch. My question can we shutdown OVC directly from hosts ? or it should be from vcenter? or CLI? As the vCenter might not available to shutdown the last OVC so how to shutdown gracefully, from CLI or directly from host. Please guide the best possible way to power OFF all nodes. Thanks
