Patch to work with Java 7?

We are running CMU 5, and due to some security concerns with Java 6, our ITSEC team has requested we upgrade to Java 7u3.  CMU doesn't seem to play well with 7 (or the update somehow messed up a CMU config file somewhere).  Is there a patch in the works to bring Java 7 compatibility to CMU?
