Archiving MS SQL Server database
Hi all, have an issue with Insight Manager DB. Logging to MS SQL Server database. DB is now reaching 22gb, & running low on disk space. Can anybody confirm if it is okay to archive off older data using SQL Archive in MMC, or is there another recommended way of reducing the Insight Manager database. Have performed database maintenance on SQL server already. Thanks, Martin

Re: Archiving MS SQL Server database
If you are using Insight Manager 7, then clearing the historical data (please see screenshot) and deleting unwanted informational events might help reducing the database size.
