Device Name Change

How do you change the device name for a novell netware6 server? I migrated from Netware 5.1 and the old server name shows up in the list.

Also, some of the servers show an ip address for the device name, where do you change that? Thanks.

hola. This is how you change device names in Insight Manager. I hope this is what you???re looking for.

In CIM 7 :
.Click on Settings
.Choose Manual Discovery
.Then Edit Device
.Type the IP into the place for IP Address and push Get Device Parameters
.This will give you the Device Name
.Now all you have to do is change the Device Name and press the Apply to Device button at the bottom of the page.

In CIM 5.30:
.Go to Setup
.Choose Device List
.Click the IP Device List button
.Highlight the server you want to change
.Click the edit button
.Now you just have to make the change to the name and hit okay
