Error while attempting to install Insight Manager 7

My company currently has Insight Manager 7 installed on a monitoring system, and we're looking to upgrade to Systems Insight Manager 5. However, I'd like to set up a test environment before we do the upgrade to ensure everything will move over completely.

I'm attempting to install IM7 onto a new system (clean install of Win2K3 Server with SQL2000), only I get an error during the install while it runs the "Admin tasks" that states "Error copying newer Version Control Database files". If anyone has an idea on how to get around this, or any upgrade advice, I'd appreciate it.

Sorry, didn't get much help on this issue and never corrected it. Ended up installing SIM5 clean and adding all the information manually.
