Help with intial setup
I want to use IM7 to monitor our 15 Proliant servers. I have been working on a good query for emailing technicians about serious problems, (hard disk failed, offline) So far I am having trouble with getting a good default setup that doesnâ t spam for lot's or "device status change" and "failed logonsâ I go and clear these events but I keep getting emails about them the next time the notification runs? Any suggestions on a good template/format for critical errors. That would exclude these minor errors that it defines as critical?

Re: Help with intial setup
Ok so I set up a number of tasks in there and it seems to run fine, my only concern now is will it actually email me now? As it says "No entries currently meet the query criteria." In the log for the email notification task that uses my new public queries But in the NIC menu I selected "notify if link is down" then I would enable the second nic (which is disconnected)on the DL360 G3 and this then shows up on the standard view as a error but when my task runs it doesnâ t email me about it. Even though I checked that box. Am I doing something wrong?
